Master’s in Bioinformatics

The Master’s program is designed as a consecutive program for graduates of a Bachelor's degree program in bioinformatics. The program is intentionally kept open to applicants who hold an equivalent qualification. A basic knowledge in bioinformatics, computer science, biology and mathematics is required and must be proven through the fulfillment of application criteria.

  • have a solid background in bioinformatics, computer science, biology, and mathematics
  • enjoy interdisciplinary research



  • offer you the possibility to choose an interdisciplinary bioinformatics research concentration in computer science, biology, mathematics, chemistry, medicine, biophysics or neuroscience.
  • offer you the opportunity to study abroad to complete a research internship in the third semester
  • offer you a university in close proximity to numerous biotechnology- and pharmaceutical companies
